Migraines

I have Chronic Migraines for the past 4 or 5 years.  A Migraine that never goes away, I have tried several medications for it but nothing helps.  I have a small cyst at the right side base of my brain, and was wondering that could be possibly a trigger in causing migraine.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there. You need to be revaluated not for the cyst but if the cyst has undergone any change / increase in the size or hemorrhage in the recent past to cause these continuous headaches, any tumors stretching the pain sensitive dura, impending rupture or ruptured aneurysm, change of medicines for migraine, trial of otherpreventive medicines lie topamax, other drugs used to abort a migraine attack in triptans and ergots group. Rule out tension headaches by stress relieving measures and behavioral therapy. Consult your neurologist at the earliest lest a vital diagnosis is missed out. Take care

Dear Dreamergirl4u

Ask your neurologist to prescribe EPLEPTIN 300MG and NEUREXAL 100MG.  These medications are usually used in epileptic patients but are also used for people with very sever Migraines.

I am also using this medications because of my severe headaches.  I was diagnosed in February 2010 with a large pituitary tumor.

My oncologist prescribed Epleptin and Neurexal for me.  I have been on this medication for 3 months now and my headaches are not as severe or often as before.  I feel great!!!  :):):)

Please go and see your neurologist and ask him for this medication.

Kind greetings

Chantelle
