Sweet,
I'm sorry you have a lesion there, but I am glad you were able to find out what was wrong with your head and neck. I thought you would wind up getting a scan, to see what might be goofed up mechanically. I hope now you will get the treatment and relief you need. Thanks for letting us know how things went. In the future, I'll tell people to get X-rays first, and if nothing shows up, to then get massage. So, I also appreciate your feedback because it will help me assist others much better.
GG
Well I went to see a different doctor. Turns out I have a lesion in that very spot that the pain is coming from. I go back tomorrow to have another scan and to see a nurologist.
The simple answer and most likely scenario is you've wrenched your neck and shoulder muscles very badly, try to remember what you were doing just before you got the headaches. To eliminate that possibility, go to a massage professional and have them really work out the muscles in your neck and shoulders, see if that helps. If the pain remains unchanged after a couple visits, then your doc should at the very least do an plane black & white X-ray to make sure you didn't dislocate your arm or fracture a vertebrae.
She could then refer you to a neurologist for a scan, to see just exactly what the problem is... you could have a trapped nerve in your neck. Or she could refer you to an orthopedist, becuz if your arm on that side is difficult to move up and around comfortably, then you may have torn a ligament in your shoulder and need physical therapy.
If your ear on that side is tender to the touch, well, have your doc look in there and see if you have an ear infection, it can be pretty fierce in how uncomfortable it gets.
