How did your MS started? I been having balance problems for the last ten years and no Dr. thought to much of it. I did have an MRI back in 2006. The MRI Stated:There was a small amount of fluid in the left mastoid air cells seen on image #19 Flair images revealed an area of increased signal intensity capping the frontal horn of the left lateral ventricle on Flair image #11 Impression: A small amount of fluid in the left mastoid air cells. A small arear of increased signal intensity surrounding the frontal horn of the left lateral ventricle is believed to be within normal limits. My balance would go away for a couple of years then it would start up again. Thats been going on for 10 years. Do you have an insight on this. I will make an appointment to see a Neuro. Where do I start. The first ENT did not have any Dr. that he could recommed. I don't think he wanted to be bother. The second ENT Dr. just wanted to talk about his dead wife. Nice Dr. but would not shut up about his wife. I think he was still griving. I should call him up and ask for a Neuro. What do you think. I do not have any luck with Doctors. They all to be in a hurry or cannot shut them up

Hi DT -
If the ENT said there's nothing wrong with your ears, then it could very well be neurological. We're not doctors, just a bunch of folks who have MS, or trying to find out if they have MS.
I would ask the ENT for the name of a neurologist and see what they have to say,
Kyle
