Please i really need help!!!

I am 17 years old and for over a year now i have been suffering with horrible symptoms. Headakes, Extreme dizziness, Numbness and tingling in my face, arms and legs. Breathing problems, Chest pains, Palpatations, Weakness, Feeling shaky, Fatigue, Vision problems...including floaters, blurred vision and heavy eyes. Everything seems to be constantly getting worse and i dont know what to do anymore. i feel like im constantly at the doctors and nothing is being done. I have seen a neurologist once who gave me some tablets to try for some headake problem and they didnt work. Ive been treated with tablets for blance problems, ear infections, Migraines and just about everything else. Ive had two ecgs which where normal and a few routine blood tests but thats it. Now my doctor seems to have given up and thinks i am a hypercondriac! This is not in my mind i can feel it and its getting worse. im scared every day and i hate being on my own becuase sometimes i can hardly move im so dizzy. Doesnt anyone else have these feelings? How can i get my doctor to belive whats going on and actually try to help me?
I feel like im going completely crazy here and i really need help!

Hi, I was just looking over this list for an answer to my problem, when I saw your symptom list. You might want to get checked out for Fibromyalgia. I have it and a lot of your symptoms you listed, another thing to check on a blood test is the Westergen level. When I was first tested I had 45 which is extremely high. It also notified my doctor that I did indeed have a inflamation problem happening. Anyway I really hope that this can help you, good luck!!

Definitely ask for bloodwork, even if you think he'll say no. If he does say no, tell him you'll no longer be seeing him and are going elsewhere.

Get the results of the CBC you had done a month ago (now 6 weeks ago, I guess haha). You're entitled to your results and it's important you have a copy of those. You probably need your calcium, vitamins, thyroid, and adrenals checked, though. Abnormal levels of calcium and vitamins will cause tingling sensations in your appendages.

Don't give up! Let me know how things have been going.

Hey thanks for responding, Ive had the average blood tests to check my liver, hormonal balance, Thyroid and things like that.
The problem i have is that my doctor seems to think im making it all up and i dont know how i can get him to belive that im really experiencing these feelings and to do some tests!
If i ask him for bloodwork tests i have a feeling hes going to say no but it may be worth a shot!

I do feel dizzy all of the time. from the minute i wake up to when i go to sleep its there constantly and seems to be getting alot worse lately aswell. The head pains before only came on every now and then but again recently seem to have become a constant thing and also again alot worse than they where to start with.

I Had a blood count done about a month ago and the doctor said it was actually really good and that im not anemic. ( i thought it could of been this because im very small, pale and find it extremely difficult to put on weight...7stone) i havent had my blood pressure done for a while so i cant remember it exactly but again the doctor said it was fine..not to high or low.

Im really at a loss for what could be causing it and why its getting worse!

A few blood tests? Which ones were done? I hate to sound like a broken record (because I bring this up fairly commonly in the posts I make), but you might want to have your thyroid checked out by having a thyroid panel done with your next bloodwork, if possible. At your age, it wouldn't be surprising to discover you're suffering from some sort of thyroid disease which, fortunately, is very treatable. It's also possible that you are prone to getting migraines...but chest pains, palpitations, breathing issues, blurred vision, tremoring, fatigue, and general feeling of weakness and malaise can all be attributed to thyroid disease. The dizziness, numbness and tingling in your face, and headaches may be a result of the migraines, though low blood pressure and calcium imbalances can cause these symptoms, as well...and your thyroid effects blood pressure and your parathyroid glands regulate serum calcium in your body.

Are you dizzy all of the time, and do you always have a headache when you're dizzy? Regardless, could you post with your typical blood pressure reading and your last red blood cell count? Anemia can cause frequent dizziness and a feeling of being light-headed, as can low blood pressure. But at least a part of your symptoms are related to the endocrine (hormonal) system, it seems, so it makes sense that the other, less obvious symptoms, may also be related in some way. This is where bloodwork would be a great help.

I hope you feel better soon--please keep us posted!
