Basically, you need to feed the kittycat, make sure the parakeet is locked in the cage with plenty of water and head for the ER. Unfortunately a three day holiday weekend is the absoilute worst time to be there.
While "keeping a careful record of events" will be very helpful to the medical examiner in determining the mechanism of your death, what you need is an in person evaluation by a neurologist. And probably an MRI, anthough you'll probably only have a CT available on weekends.
You are absolutely corrrect that this could be the sign of an impending aneurysm. On the other hand this is extremely unlikely. I don't want you to fee scared.
The other alternative is to rest in a quiet and dark room meditate, making sure to make lots of note for the ME in case you expire (helpful hint: in the dark you could use a tape recorder).
Modern emergency rooms in teaching hospitals are very good places to go when there is the slightest chance of a truly serious problem.
Hi, Thank you for your question. Generally, one sided throbbing (or sharp) headache (or discomfort) & orbital pain (eye pain) with numbness symptoms could be suggestive of migraine. Factors that may induce your migraine attack may be excessive pills, stress or depression, bright lights, loud noise and traveling. The mainstay of the migraine treatment is always to identify the triggering factors and to avoid them. On the other hand, few patients experience similar pain with sinusitis (sinus with infected mucus), nerve impingement and any neurological disorder. I would suggest careful record of events that have proceeded with the attack and avoid those factors. In addition, try to rest in a dark & quiet room, meditate, have a balanced diet, avoid taking unnecessary drugs and consult a neurologist. Hope this helps.
From your description, it sounds like this pressure might be coming from your neck. I would have a doctor check you out. Describe to him what happened and that it started with push ups. Hopefully, he will do an xray or scan of your head and neck area. It could be one of many things. Hang in there. Good luck.
