I am sorry to hear about your father’s medical problems.  Well, a localized meningioma just adjacent to the inner table of skull has a better prognosis than a deep seated one. However, the prognosis also depends on how aggressive the menigioma is (genetic karyotype—though usually benign some meningiomas are malignant), how well it can be excised and the area of the brain
