Ruining my life!

I am a male 29 years old who is basically at the end of his tether. I have no life anymore only worrying about ALS.

My symptoms began a few months ago with a twitching right leg. Felt like bubbles were going through it, twitching and with a slow aching muscle pain in it. I went to doctor but he thought nothing of it.

I had noticed my hands were a bit twitchy but also ignored these symptoms. I had a big night out drinking (FAR TOO BIG) and next day I was twitching EVERYWHERE. I went to the doctor who said I have no weakness and just to wait and see. I made the mistake of googling for twitching and ALS came up. My Leg muscles, both sides, are now aching and the twitching has NOT gone away. It is most noticable in hands legs (thigh) and face. It is no where near as bad as with the hangover. I feel aching all over and stiff especially in those legs. I can't stop feeling panic and desperate, am very emotional at moment. I am 29 and have met the most wonderful girl which makes me even more sad because I feel like I won't be able to spend any of my life with her. I have aching joints and they are clicking a lot although I am not sure that if this is related. Please help anyone I am desperate beyond any words as my life is now a mess. It is 6:45 in the morning here and I have woken up panic stricken because my legs were hurting and there was twitching. I don't know what to do.
Thanks to all who read and reply.

Could it be that your symptoms are anxiety related? Stress and anxiety do strange things to you phsyically. I have experienced numbness, pins and needles, tingling and dizziness all of which can only be explained by anxiety. Googling does not help when you are worried about something. All I can advise is pester your doctor and keep on at them. Don't suffer in silence. The average time a GP spends with a patient is 7 minutes and this is not enough time to diagnose anything in my opinion. Good luck.

Thanks for replying even knowing that ohters are out there is a help. Yes I do suffer from anxiety as I am the most stressed person ever. I see the worst in every situation but oddly only with my health. I will keep everyone updated as I find out more and I will just try to remember that the odss are very slim for ALS at my age like 1 in 100000.
Cheers
