Yes.  Talk to the specialist to see if this can really reoccur in the future and if you need to take any precautions.  If it helps, make a list of questions to ask him before your visit.

All you can do now is wait to see what the Neurosurgeon says since he/she is the specialist.  Getting anxious about it will only increase your blood pressure, so try and relax in the meantime.  You only have a few more days to go for your appt., then you can let us know how it went...and I'm wishing the best for you. :-)

Yea I had a MRI an that's how I know that the Subdural hematoma is not bleeding but I still get head aches an once in a while the numbness if my face goes threw my arm down to my fingers but it only last for a minute or so an no I didn't hurt my neck I stood up an hit my head but to be honest I didn't hit it that hard like I didn't knock my self out or nothing so idk what's goin on an I go see a nuro spcl on the 24 but I sure my doc faxed all the film over like I said the hematoma was only 6mm big but I'm still scared an I can't stop thinking about it an i don't want nothing to come out bad so what do you think that ..the nuro surgeon said that there is nothing to worry about but I wanna know for sure should I believe him ??

Oops...I guess my name fits me...LOL.  Sorry about that.  What kind of specialist are you seeing?

Here is some info. on subdural hematomas:  http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000713.htm

You can get, but not seen as often, numbness and/or weakness to the extremities, but most complain of severe headaches.  So your symptoms are not consistent with what we would normally see.  You may have something else going on.

When you hit your head, did you injury your neck?  Did the hospital do any films or MRI of your neck?  Do you have any pain coming from your neck going down your arms to your fingers?  Can you reproduce the pain by moving your neck a certain way or your arms (bending the shoulder and/or elbows)?  Perhaps you pinched a nerve and injured something in your neck when you fell that needs to be worked up.  Mention theses symptoms to the specialist, and bring all copies of films with you to the appt.

In your first post you said that you were seeing a specialist on 9/24/14.  It is past that now.  Did you see the specialist?  If so, what kind of MD is he and what did he say?
