Hello.
I don't think you should go to any other ophthalmologist. Over here on the forum, it is difficult for us to check what is wrong. The ophthalmologist has seen you eyes and he is in the best position to comment if there is any eye problem.
Have you checked your vision ? Some change in refraction of the eye can also manifest as headaches.
Have you completed the course of medicines for the middle ear infection ?
How are you now ?.
Regards
Thanks. The pain is stable in the same level and not getting worse. I had nausea only in the first a couple of weeks(3 or 4 month ago). I was told it is mid-ear viral infection. Then everything seemed fine except headache was there all the time until now. I went to see the ophthalmologist a couple of times and he said there is no evidence to be eye related. Should I see another ophthalmologist for the second opinion or any other suggestions? Thanks.
Hello.
This could be related to any inflammation of the optic nerve. But it should not last that long without an increase in severity. Would you say the pain is stable or it has increased over these three months ?
Cluster headaches can also manifest like this, but there are other accompaniments, like nausea, watering form eyes, etc.
I would suggest that you should see an ophthalmologist and get the doubt of optic neuritis cleared.
