Unable to walk

Hi All,

My mother suffers from what we've been advised it could be, the MND. My mothers symptons are she doesn't seem to have any balance over her legs, The only time she can stand is when she's holding on to something. There doesn't seem to be any controll over her legs, her upper body seems to be fine. Sometime I notice her hand dont have enough power to use a pen.

Her legs are always swaling and always cold but she doesn't feel any pain anywhere.

My mother has been in this condition for around 4years. The process for her current status has been over the past 4years it slowley slowley got worse.

What I need to know and understand are.

Are the above symptoms of the MND?

If so, would this effect her breathing or any pain in the future? at the moment or for the last 4years its only effected her legs.

I know if this is MND there is no cure to it but is there anything that my Mother can do to help her?

We have been advised she needs physio threapy and swimming?

Mant Thanks in advance.

Roni
