I would recommend seeking the opinion of a Epilepsy Specialist.
No, just regular Neuros.
When they first started, the double vision and blurred vision, i could feel it creeping up the back of my head and then it felt like it went thru my brain, my vision felt like someone was pulling the muscles really tight in my eyes and I would be stuck standing wherever I was. Sometimes I would shake as if I was really cold and my concentration would be totally off.
Now when I get them my vision is just totally out whack like looking thru a fishbowl. I have only had the double vision actually seperate into two images twice.
They had tried me on Depakote and for one week i didn't have them, then i had a reaction they took me off of it and put me on lamictal and I had a full body rash from that, My first neuro gave up on me.
The double vision things can last from 5 minutes to about 15 minutes.
Any of these Neuros that you have seen Epilepsy Specialists?
I just went on to the epilepsy foundation site and they described my double vison and blurred vision episodes to a tee. They (seizures) can come from the temporal lobe or the occipital lobe
Thank you. I have had 3 neuro's look at it, they all say its possible seizures but yet they do nothing, just keep passing me to someone else.
There is abnormal activity in the left temporal region of your brain. This definitely should be further investigated.
