I am not the patient, my 6 year old daughter is. We have been seeing an endocrinologist due to she isn't growing like she should. We had an MRI done a week ago and today I got a phone call from the doctor saying the MRI showed "multifocal punctate non enhancing hyperintense T2 flare signal visuali in the superior frontal subcortical white matter." What is this? What does it even mean? The endocrinologist couldn't even tell me what this was, but is referring us to a neurologist. I just need to understand what this means.
