eagles syndrome/root canal

Can symptons of Eagles syndrome led to the need for a root canal.  I had bilateral surgery for Eagles Syndrome in August 2012.  I immediately felt the positive benefits from the surgery on my left side but only about 50% on the right side which was longer. It has been 5 months and my right ear, jaw, back molar, neck and even down into my shoulders arm and hand are often at a level 10 pain!  And as if that wasn't enough, I have a bulgding cervical disc 3 and 4. The pain is worse when I lay down and when I chew or drink cold or hot beverages.  My dentist did an xray of the molar in question, but the roots looked fine and the is no visible decaying of the tooth.  However it is very sensitive to cold and hot and somewhat to pressure. The tooth in front of the molar in question is gone but the next two teeth are somewhat sensitive.  I feel like I am loosing my mind!!!!! I thought that the Eagles Syndrome surgery would correct the pain but it has not completely, so now I am trying to see if what other issues are at play. I also have had a metallic taste in my mouth for over a year now.

I lost all my teeth due to root-canals. The one dentist I saw told me that nothing was wrong with the tooth...but did a root-canal because I was in so much pain.
Turns out ( after all that time, money, and lost teeth ) that it was my sinuses the whole time.
Now I have no teeth and am in constant pain...can't wear the dentures as the gums are too sensitive.

I wish I would have had an honest dentist to begin with!!!
My ENT said that the dentist could see by the xrays that it was due to sinuses...and he should have told me that!

The metallic taste can come from sinus issues too.
Please see an ENT before having any dental surgery.
