urgent attention needed

I am a recovering drug addict.  I have two & 1/2 years clean now.  about a year ago I started getting severe headaches. I also suffered from headaches as a child too.  at the very beginning of the headaches I started taking tylenol to relieve the pain.  It worked for a while, but soon I became immune to the tylenol, and it actually started making my headaches works.  Everytime i started taking medication, I could actually feel the medication trying to work through my veins.  Sometimes it felt as though the medication could not get through my veins.  It also made my veins burn anytime i took any kid of pills.  So I don't take any pills any more.  I also about a year ago started having these spacing out episodes.  I can be doing anything & suddenly I will zone out.  I just staring into space, I rock back & forth, and I'm not able to speak at all when these episodes occur, I also am aware that this is happening too me. At the time this happens too me , My right side of the upper part of my head starts hurting, and i can feel all this activity going on inside my head, it feels like electical tiny worms is inside my head moving all around.  The episodes usually last 5 to ten minutes.  Everyday I wake up with headaches.  I also have migranes too.  Also more often now i have tightness in my upper righ arm area, right shoulder, right side of the neck and right side of the back.  Some times it all just tightens up, making it hard for me too move my right side.  Sometimes it hurts along with the tightness.  I too have been recently diagnosed as having an cerebral aneurysm. I have been too an Neuroligist, an ENT doctor too.  I also have ocasionally pulsating in my right ear.  They say that is pulsatile tinnitus.  I have had several CT scan, MRI, EEG, and MRA.  I was diagnosed with the Aneurysm after having the MRA, but the doctors don't believe that the aneurysm is the cause of all these other symtoms.  I have high blood pressure too. Also anytime i am around anything that is eleectrical that can give off electrical waves of any sort then my head begins too have all this activity inside it that I can not explain.  I'm not talking about anything mental, but all physical symptoms.  My case is so rare that words just won't do it justice trying to explain it.  the Doctors do not know what is wrong with me.  They call me a rare case.  I been going through this for a while.  I also get alot of nausia, and my body aches alot, and sometimes I am so weak physically in my body, that I can barely walk.  I get dizzy too.  Can you help me to know what is wrong with me.  I am a wife & a mother of 8 children.  I want to know that what ever is happening too me, won't kill me.  By the way I still have the aneurysm, and that i itself is scary too.  Can you help diagnose me, or will you also consider me to be a lost cause?

Thank you so much for the information.  I have really had a hard time getting answers from any one.  So many Doctors look at my like I am making up this; but I do have some good news.  I am being connected with the right Specialist.  Maybe finally I can get some answers.  Again I thank you for responding.  I really feel like you were genuinely concerned.

I am most definitely not an expert in migraine auras or magnetic fields or whatever is happening to you, but it sort of sounds like the electrical brain waves in your head have gone haywire.  While migraines can be pretty wild all by themselves, I suppose there are some other reasons why you are in so much trouble.

Sometimes a growth, or like in your case an aneurysm, can expand and push down on the electrical connections in the brain, and cause them to either fire off too fast or too slow or whatever.  I personally think you should go to a major hospital or one that has a big neurology and brain surgery department, for a second opinion, and find out a little more about these problematic electrical sensations in your head.

There is also a very unusual condition in some people where they pick up very low-frequency sounds that regular people don't hear, and if they live in certain parts of the country, they have endless trouble with that.  They even have an organization for this, I guess maybe a website, too, so perhaps you can find a link to them.

There is also a possibility that you have some sort of vitamin or mineral deficiency, or even you might have picked up some metal toxicity along the way.  Perhaps they can do a blood test to see if your body is not metabolizing some critical nutritient correctly, and also run a panel of various metals that you could have in your system.

By the way, about your blood pressure, sometimes eating certain foods can help control that, like garlic, so you could probably find some natural ways to get that under better control.

I'm not able to take any medication, because of the burning in my veins.  So no, I do not take blood pressure medication, but I stay away from pork, beef & foods high in fat & salt.  That still does not explain all the othet symptoms.  Thanks for your recommendations.  I am doing alot ofr what you suggested allready.

Hi,

Is your blood pressure under control?
Dizziness, weakness and nausea can occur if the blood pressure is not adequately controlled.
Magnesium supplements are very helpful in controlling migraine, you can try taking them for sometime. Another option is biofeedback. You can discuss these options with your treating doctor.
I would also advise you eat regularly, maintain your fluid intake, sleep for at least 8 hrs in the night, and do some breathing exercises and meditation. Take care!
