myoclonus

i am 16 years old and i occasionally have muscle twitches when sitting or laying down. They last for about 30 sec to 1 min. I have been reading around and are they myoclonic twitches? I have recently been having this problem and it is annoying to endure, not painful but just weird to experience. What can i do to see what is wrong

You should go to a neurologist and tell them about your symptoms

my son was having some twitching in the morning for the last week and we took him to see a neurologist.  They have done an eeg to see if he has epilipsey (seizures). The EEG came back with negative.  They want to put him on keppre to control the jerks but i want to get a second opinion.
