after months of testing i have not been diagnosed. symptoms range from mild to severe and include muscles locking up, stiffness or inability to walk or move freely. had abnormal sweat test and tilt. Also have idiosyncratic cardio myopathy (defibrillator/pacer) so not able to have an mri. i have symptoms of monoclonus that occur day or night and seem to be brought on by noise, touch and other factors like hunger or low blood pressure. I've had five miscarriages all within 10 weeks. I am 37 with a lot of questions, but no answers, a journalist and restaurant owner, so I am missing out on my life and still want to try for a baby. I was told at cleveland clinic to pick up the pieces and learn to cope with my symptoms. where do i go next ???

Uh...have you considered lyme disease?  Every single one of your symptoms could by lyme.  I've had a lot of them myself.   It can frequently cause miscarrage as documented in the 2008 oscar nominated film "Under our Skin" (check clips on youtube.)

I had a lyme test back in March which was negative.  But then I learned they are crappy and insensitive.  I finally got a better test from a better doctor from a lab called Igenex (www.igenex.com).  YOu need the lyme IgM and IgG test.

Every single one of your symptoms can be from lyme. In fact..I'd almost bet my life on it.  Check out the more than 75 symptoms here:

You need to get yourself to an LLMD (Lyme LIterate MD) ASAP if you want to get well.  Lyme is very controversial and there is a  huge battle going on in th emedical community between the lyme docs and patients and the mainstream doctors who deny it exists.

You can get well!!  I'm 8 months into treatment and am 95% most days!!

What kind of specialists have you seen already?

Not to be rude, but your body is not in any condition at this point to be carrying a baby.  You need to figure out what is going on with you first.
