please help

what to do or take when you dont have any dilatin. the doctor wont refill his prescription till he see em but they scheduled the appt. a month away he has already been without his meds for three days he is going to start and have withdraws and the pharmacy wont help either i dont know what to do

thankyou that is what i ended up doing is going to the urgent care and he is going to find a new doctor they had said he wasnt a patient there therefor they wouldnt fill his meds which made no sense since he has been going to the same doctor for years.

Hi.  Call the doctor again and see if he/she will refill the prescription for just enough dilantin to last until the next appointment. Be sure to point out to them that your friend is out of dilantin.  Make note of who you are talking to.

If the doctor refuses, take your friend to the emergency or urgent care.  They should fill enough of the RX to get through to the appointment.

Does the doctor state a reason to not refill the prescription of dilantin?  If there is not good reason, perhaps you should consider finding another doctor - after he gets his meds filled.
