Short description of the problem
Since about last 2.5 years I have been experiencing very gradual decrease of strength in my lower limbs, particularly more in right leg. Now I am experiencing foot drop in right leg and can walk only for very shor distance in my home with the help of walker.I can not stand wihout a support Many tests were conducted at Ranchi, Pune and finally at Bangalore. Various type of blood test done at Ranchi (Vitamin D Defficiecy was found and treatment done accordingly)
Subsiquetly MRI of lumber spine,NCV/EMG,Arterial Doppler tets don at Jahangir Hospital Pune in August 1917
I am not diabetic. I am also non alcoholic and non smoker
Peripheral neuropathy was diagnosed . However cause was not known.
Further test was done at Manipal Hospital Bengaluru and some blood sample was analysed at Natonal Institut of Mental health and Neuro sciences at Bengaluru .Treatment was started wth different set of medicines. The cause was thought to be excessive lead present in the blood. Treatment continued for 3/4 months The lead came down to normal range. However there has not been improvent;
Another consultation was done in April 2018.at Apollo Hospital Bengaluru
Sural nerve biopsy was suggested with other tets in order to find the cause and the same was done.
However cause could not be found
