shapeshifter needs help with seizures

On 05/07 I was brutally beaten on the left side of my face and the front of my head in an attempted robbery. On 11/07 I had the first seizure in my life, it just came out of no where! I've had CAT scan, MRI & EEG all were OK. My neurologist is an intelligent and well know Dr. with many great things said about him. That is why I chose him. However we still do not have a defined cause for these seizures nor an exact definition of what type they are called. I convulse terribly, from head to toe literally, my body jerks from forced folded up positions to outstretched and arched then back again, these are truely wearing me down physically, mentally and emotionally. I'm absolutely exhausted, I go limp and have to sleep for an hour or 2. I'm takeing neurotin for these, but it's not working so well. I've had a severe migraine for 6 days now & my IBS is kicking in tonight. My tremors are getting worse & more constant, now my legs are tremoring when I sit or walk & I twitch all over. My balance is off and my memory is getting horrible. There is no family history of Epilepsy or seizures in my family, only one aunt with Parkensons. I don't know what to do, I can't work now and have pretty much become a shut in since Nov. 07. I was told it's not Epilepsy, Hunintons or Parkinsons and it may be Psycosymatic. But since I saw my Neuro Dr. I blacked out at the end of a seizure & since then everything has gotten worse at a fast pace. Please Help Me. Any Info &/or suggestions PLEASE I don't know how much more of this I can take. I'm so depressed my mind is going places it need not go. HELP SOON!!!!!

Ok I'm gonna be honest my Dr told me they would not put me on nuerontin because it does not control siezures and would not put me on it . I do not have epilepsy but have had some episodes that depakote and now topamax can control . Talk to your dr about a new med it might work for you. I am so sorry about what happened to you , the people who did this to you will get there's ,I will keep you in my prayers . Good luck and please send me a private message and keep me informed.

I happened to read your post, it sounds awful what your going through and what you have been through.  If your doctor is not giving you any answers maybe you should find another or get a second opinion.  If your feeling that badly and depressed you should go to the ER, call a friend or family member.  wishing you well.  Sorry no other advice.  MB
