Hello, I am MussyHair. What a bummer to be told 2 days before Christmas that you have spinal cerebellar degeneration; you've probably had symptoms you some time though, so how are you going ?
I have been under a neurologist for about 11 years for my neuro condition which includes several demyelinated cranial nerves giving me vertigo hearing and balance problems and also asthma, reflux and bladder (ANS instability) and migraines and just 6 weeks ago my neurologist told me my cerebellum was involved as well as my spine. I am still walking though and go to the gym and yoga.
The neuro said mine was a rare hereditary condition so I wont necessarily pass it on to my children and MRI's are not advised with cerebellar disorders as radiation is bad for it. I've had 2 MRI's.
