OCD meds

I suffer from OCD and have tried numerous serotonin meds, all of which I have had extreme side effects.  My doctor put me on Cymbalta, but I have notices increased weight gain.  I recently lost quite a bit of weight and no have put back on 15 lbs.  She has suggested I try Luvox, but don't know if I should or not.  I worked so hard to lose this weight and don't want to gain any more.  I am at a loss of what decision to  make.

i have been on  luvox for 1 year and its a very good medicine with minimum side effects ,so please give it a try and regarding weight gain i think it is the dullness caused by these medicines that we gain weight , which we can counter by exercises. Recovery from ocd should be primary concern so please take the medicine

I haven't tried either Cymbalta or Luvox but I think you need to weigh the pros and the cons.  Is your mental health stability worth 15 pounds because if I'm reading this correctly the Cymbalta is working for you.  I know it stinks to gain weight and you have worked hard to lose it.  It is really up to you.  If Luvox doesn't have that side effect, then it may be worth a try.  Good luck and sorry I couldn't be of more help.
