I repeat myself alot

For example, I will say the same thing 5 times in a row or with in a short period of time. I don't even notice it. People make comments about it sometimes. Its not a huge deal. I don't know anyone else who does this. Is this anything I should be concerned about? I am 36 years old and it has happened my whole life.

Do you have a lot of anxiety associated with repeating yourself? Meaning, do you feel like if you don't repeat yourself you'll go crazy or feel a lot of mental anguish? Typically, that is associated with having OCD. Major anxiety! If this isn't a big deal for you and doesn't really cause you any discomfort or stress, then it's more likely just a quirk of yours or some other issue. But you would need to see a professional to make that diagnosis.

It may be OCD. If it is making living your life difficult, you could perhaps talk to a therapist. If you see no reason to seek treatment, then that is fine as it is your choice.
