Bicep tear

So I had an mri of my shoulder and images say I have a tear to my bicep. I had a follow up with my doctor today and she is releasing me back to work but I’m concerned because I know that I can not do the work that I am paid to do . I have a very sharp pain when I lift my arm to the side.lifting a cup of coffee when I’m laying in bed or getting food from a drive through really puts me in great pain. I don’t know what to do. I love my job and don’t want to be forced to get a new one. Please help me understand what I need to do
