This is what my MRI report says" A complete ACL tear is seen. The posterior crux I ate ligament is intact. The parallel and quadriceps tendons appear within normal limits. There is a tear of the posterior horn medial meniscus. Extensive signal is seen in the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus suggest evidence of least a meniscal contusion if not tear. A large effusion is seen. There is edema noted anterior to the patella and patellar tendon. Edema is seen in the posterior aspect of the proximal tibia laterally with some subtle micro fracture lines. There is a small impacting fracture of the distal lateral femoral condole. Minor additional edema is seen in the proximal medial tibia anteriorly. There is some loss of medial compartment joint space. The collateral ligaments are intact. The articular surfaces appear within normal limits. Conclusion: complete ACL tear. Medial meniscal tear. Subchondral impaction fracture of the distal lateral femur with additional bone contusion of the proximal lateral tibia.
