Over one year ago I had Synvisc used in my right shoulder.  Prior to the injection, I was unable to reach into my back pocket, also I was in Physical Therpy for the shoulder.  Three day's after the 1st injection, the therapist was amazed I regained over 80 % use of the shoulder.  After the third, I was released with full range of motion.  Next week I will be having my left shoulder treated.  I hope that I will have the same results.  I will post the results.

I have had 4 series of Synvisc  One sots, the second  shoot lasted 8 years, went from almost no usage of my arm ,to doing almost anything I want, pain went from 7-8 to a 1.It was a life saver for me. My shoulders are just about bone to bone 3 mm distance . It was done at the University of Virginia and was guided by x ray.It may not work for everyone , but if it isn't injected by the use of x ray , it could be a waste.  I have avoided total replacement now for over 10 years.
That's super encouraging.  Good to know and thank you for sharing.  Are you still pain free?
