ilizarov technique for bowleggedness

Hi, I'm am a 30 years old and bowlegged and it has bothered me all my life. I recently found a website with a clinic from the Ukraine that says to do bowlegged correction with something called the ilizarov technique.  Can anyone tell me if they have heard of this and had this done.  Or do you know of any procedure that will correct bowleggedness.  In the Ladisten clinic website there are pictures of people who had this done.  It looks great but is this truly real and what would be the costs.

Hi there,

I am 37 year old and had bowlegs. I recently had a surgery to correct them. I did some research and found about Ladisten Clinic as well. I had email exchanges with the manager, Pavel and also interviewed a few patients who had surgeries. I have no doubt Dr. Veklich is a great surgeon but I am so glad I decided to have a surgery in the states because it was covered under insurance and the process was less intrusive to my legs. This technique is called IBalance Tibial Osteotomy where they put a small plate to correct the alignment of your knees. Unless your knees are apart more than 20 inches, this technique might work better for you. I just started a blog about the surgery experience because I struggled most of my life because of bowed legs and really want to help other people with the same problem. MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
hi,
ilizarov is the perfect answer to any sort of orthoapedic deformity, provided it's done in the right hand.
SO meet an orthopaedician who specilizes in this procedure, and know more details.
Cost part, i am really not aware in your country
Regards
