im getting no answers

about 7 years ago i was playing soccer and got kicked on the outside of my right knee. it felt as though it dislocated and popped back in. since then it has happened again and again..with the same feeling as though it dislocates and pops back in. i have since had mri's and xrays. all they tell me is i have meniscus bruising or somthing like that. they tell me there are no tears but im still in pain when i walk and it still dislocates on a regular basis.

can anyone help me?

how do i go about getting this info? the doctors tell me it will heal that i just need to let it relax...after i had gotten the mri and was informed i had just bruising and no tears. i went back to playing soccer. as i was kicking a soccer ball ( im right footed) my knee gave that dislocation feeling and i just hit the ground in agony...i point out the fact that im right footed because thats the foot that was in mid air. i had no weight on it... it was back ready to kick the ball just before giving that foward motion.

i cant keep having this happen. I need more of an answer that it will heal..when it never does.

also..why are the doctors so intent on giving me naproxen when i have no swelling at all? what else would be good for the pain from my knee locking up as i walk and whatnot?

If you are not cured by conservative therapy, and it may be determined that surgery is needed, especially in patients who have significant pain or recurrent dislocation.

So,As far as diagnosis, treatment or cure, more information is needed
