What could cause persistent unilateral tibia pain at rest?

Persistent pain at rest, worsening over last 4 days, in lower right leg.  

No noticeable swelling, redness, lumps, numbness or tingling. No change in pain with weight bearing, positional changes or when palpating along the bone. Sedentary prior to onset of pain. No injury or exercise. Naproxen and Tylenol do not improve pain. No other symptoms at present. Pain is a constant dull ache along tibia with focual area mid lower tibia into calf muscle.

35 year old
Female
No other symptoms at present
No history of leg pain/injury
Splenectomy '98
Cholecystectomy '04
