Hello.
Retroversion refers to the direction of the acetabulum. Normally the acetabulum faces antero-laterally. Retroversion means a postero-lateral direction. This is a dysplasia of the hip joint.
There is a risk of premature degenerative changes in the joint.
Have you been diagnosed recently? What are your symptoms?
Regards
I've been diagnosed, dut to a MRI with contrast injected directly into my hip. I have pain that typically shoots down my leg, I've been dealing with it for 6 months. i can't sit indian style and can't lay on my right side (affected side). I'm just really nervous about the treatments and repairs. Could anyone shed any light on this?
