Should I be concerned about the large soft spot in the back of my head?

I have a large soft spot on the back of my head, that starts towards to the top of my head. There is also an indentation around this soft spot. The soft spot is about the size of my palm. I do get tingly-like feelings, which I used to think was from having my hair in a ponytail for too long, however, it does happen when I wear my hair down too. I am a 30 year old female. Is this something I should be concerned about? what checks should I ask my doctor to do?
