What is the last growth plate (that increases your height) to close?

What is the last growth plate (that increases your height) to close?

I had a x-ray of my knee done, and the doctor said that the growth plate in my knee is closed. I am wondering if my spine growth plate may still be open.

Thank you for your response. I would like to pose this question to you
Is it still possible to grow taller? And if so, how much?

Hi there!

Among the long bones in the axial skeleton the last femur centre fuses at around 23-24 years or age, the last tibial centre fuses at 20, the last fibula centre at 24-25 years of age and the secondary ossification centres of the spine fuse at 25 years of age.
Hope this information helps.

Take care!
