Why my back hurts after I fall straight on my butt

so i was rock climbing (bouldering to be exact) and i was about 6 feet up when my hands slipped and bamm i went straight on my butt. The floor i landed on wasn't hard floor but the thing is when i fall i was degrees in a sitting position and i was in pain and couldn't breath for a minute or move. i shook it off and all but it was hurting (my whole back upper lower middle side you name it) and i cant jump at all nor walk with out feeling a pain(a kind of pain when you work out and be sore the next day but hurts more than that) i went home and just try to rest it out i am not a medication type of girl so i didn't take any painkiller. the next day it was hurting even bad and i cant even toss and turn in bed i can walk but that was about it. so now its been two weeks and i can walk and run but still hurts to jump and bend or sleep and toss the pain is mostly around my ribs and mid back. i haven't seen a doctor nor took any meds so any suggestion? i fall on my butt but why is it that my back is suffering?
