Hello!
Your nerve supply is from your cervical spinal region so you can have referred pain with irritation of the nerves due to surgery or inflammation to your shoulders and arms due to any local problems. These symptoms can also be due to the anaesthesia and the nerve block which might have been given for the surgical repair.
You should take antibiotics, rest and your referred pain will slowly decrease.
If you have any further complications or continuation of symptoms then follow up with your orthopaedic surgeon.
Take care!
