carpal tunnel questions

have carpal tunnel that doesn't let up after radial wrist fracture 3 months ago.   It was delayed onset carpal tunnel starting about 3 to 4 weeks after surgery installing a plate used because they said the type of fracture I had tends to slip back out of place.  Surgeon had it xrayed but didn't see any direct cause on the xray.  Is there any other type of test such as sonogram  MRI etc.  that might  help pinpoint problems?
