hip abduction problem

hey doc,

im 20 years old and very active. i love to play soccer and work out. when i was young i i had trouble walking and so in england they split my legs apart with tension. that seemed to work and i havent looked back since. however in the last 2-3 years, iv realized my abduction movement has slowly decreased. i recently took muay thai and after the first kicking session, i realized abduction has become unbearable. my hip is cracking when i move them laterally and rotational movement is hard. i got xrays done and blood count done and both showed normal hips. the docs were crazy enough to say that its just a growth thing and you are totally fine. the pain is in both side of my hips and comes on the sides, i dont have any problem doing adductor movement but rotating my leg outward is painful on both legs and recently, so is rotating it inward. i also realize that after having tree trunk sized legs, they are slowly degenerating and seem to be rapidly disappearing even though i constantly work them out. someone plz help me i dont wana get arthritis and i just want to play soccer.
