elbow injury

this happened last wed. I was out when I slipped on a puddle of water, as I was falling I used my arm to protect my face in doing so I landed straight on my left elbow, I went to the doctors and they did a xray but said there was fluid on it. It hasnt gotten any better at all. I can not straighten my arm all the way, if I have it bent (like when its in the sling) it will start to tingle like its falling asleep and Im seeming to drop stuff if I have it in my left hand.  Im just not sure the doctor was right.

I should have sought medical treatment at the time when I fell. It had not bothered me until a year later. The first doctor I went to see was a homeopath and he was more concerned about my high acid levels. After using his medication for a week it became worse. I called his surgery and they told me it will get worse before it gets better. BULL!!!

At the time I had difficulty brushing my teeth, drying hair, a simple thing like lifting a cup etc, but I could pick up a suitcase with no difficulty (different muscle groups).

I then went for my acupuncture treatments and at the same time continued to use the medication given and dietary advice given by homeopath. I combined the two disciplines.

Just maybe a specialist can come up with the answer to your discomfort.
Also look up the properties for Apple Cider Vinegar to help you deal with the pain.

Hope you will get better soon.

I went back and had more xrays and it looks like there is a break, but now Im not sure if I should go to the specialist or not. The doctor said he wasnt sure if a specialist would do anthing different.

Ashley, a similar thing happened to me. I developed "tennis elbow". This I had sorted out with 10 sessions of accupuncture. After every session I could feel the improvement. Hope this helps.
