A black/white photo of some of my collections. This was made when a friend and I were working with a documentary photographer - she wanted to learn more about the social awareness work he did and I went along to help defray the cost per hour. We met in his basement and used his darkroom and equipment. Along the way, I learned to like developing photos.
I _really_ can count!! Yes, there are five Chinese dolls.
Four are Chinese - not sure about the little one on the left, that one may be Japanese. These are most of the composition-head ones, there are many more of the cloth ones to the right of those.
Nancy, is this a collection of dolls from China? Or are they Japanese? I'm guessing China from the clothes....
