BEP anyone?

Hello everyone, I'm a 30 year old woman diagnosed with unstaged grade 2 teratoma. My doctors have me on 3 cycles of BEP. I have to do 5 nights in patient treatment, which *****.
I've had one treatment so far, went in for 2nd on Wednesday, but WBC was too low. I've been given injections of Neupogen for 4 days. Anyways, I had an anxiety attack on my 3rd night there. Any one else have in patient treatment? If so, how do keep yourself from going crazy?

Ativan is a drug usually given for to chemo patients for nausea.  It's supposed to work for anxiety attacks.  Also, Xanax works well.  Coming from one who knows!  Both can be used sublingually; let it dissolve under your tongue.  It works in about 5 minutes.
Good luck, dear lady.

First I am sorry for what you are going through.. I am stage IV ovarian.  I needed blood transfusions so I spent many chemos in the hospital.. I turned to cross word puzzles.. it was one of the few things that kept my mind occupied and yet thoughtful.... I also dozed watching the food network... funny cause I didin't want to eat... I think in 4 months of treatment I never had an appetite.   Try even a jig saw puzzle on a tv tray... Ronni
