Do I have cause for concern?

I am 32 years old and have a family history of lung, colon, colorectal, and uterine cancers.  My mother just had areas of concern removed from her colorectal area this year.  I have had irregular bleeding for two years now, and a "complex cyst" was found on my left ovary last year.  My husband is in the Navy and I am having a hard time convincing the hospital to look into the possibility of Ovarian Cancer.  I already have been diagnosed with NF1 which predisposes me to tumor growth already.  Do I have cause for concern and should I push harder or let things happen as they may?

PUSH HARDER , PUSH HARDER, this is your body and if it is nothing great.  God forbid if it is something at least it will be caught early.  Keep us posted

Get that irregular bleeding looked into.  I would think you have cause for concern, yes.  But do not panic.  Please get things looked into.  Waiting will not make things better.  Tell the Docs all about your family history and that you have valid concerns.
