Found the cyst that I suspected

Hi all, just wanted to mention that I had a TVUS today and they saw the cyst on my rt. ovary that's been hurting. I also had pain on the left. The cyst is taking care of itself and the reason my left one hurt is because of the free fluid around it from the cyst. It is only 2 cm now, they don't know how big it was. I am so relieved it is going away. Anyone else had a "slow rupture" and not a big burst? Also, the doctor said my ovary was still a little big. I assume it will go down as the cyst goes away? I don't know why I didn't ask that. Thanks so much for the support I've received from this forum, it has been so valuable. :)

Glad to hear the good news.  I must say I have not had the slow leak, just the abrupt burst.  I am sure you will be painfree in no time.

I had a 5 cm cyst, there were conflicting opinions on whether it was attached by a thin stalk to my ovary or if it was some other bype of cyst that just happened to be next to the ovary.  3 weeks later it was only 1.3 cm, so I assume it was a "slow leak."  My mother in law is a nurse, she says cysts can be like pimples, they fill, then ooze, then fill... ick.
