Does this sound normal

Hiya

got my scan today normal ultrasound first then I was asked to go to the toilet to empty my bladder as it was too full and she said she would do the internal scan when I got back I did find this to be quite painful
when I got ready and was ready to leave I asked did everything look ok she said there was something there that didnt look normal but could be classed as normal for my age and not to worry

has this happened to anyone else get my results back a week today

thanks ann

It sounds as if she saw some thickening of your uterus because it can be thickened in premenopausal women and still be normal.  Call your doc or call and request a report for yourself.

Is the mass solid or cystic?  Or do you know?

he said it was a solid mass but his opinion was it was a fibroid
and took another CA125 blood test first one came back 85 but family history of grandmother and mother both had OC and the gene mutation is also there
other than that they arnt giving anything away when I spoke to my own doctor she looked puzzled to why he said it was a fibroid as she done the first internal examination and ran the first CA125 blood test

ann, just to say good luck and I shall pray and keep you in thoughts. "Normal" is such a frightning thought, I keep saying "is it normal (after surgery) that I am peeing so much or is it normal, this or that. I think everyone is so individual, doctors should ban that word.

I hope you have good results.
