I had my Barium enema

Just for future reference the worst part of the exam was the tipping and balloon inflation of the exam.  The procedure itself was not bad.  The doc could not get the cecum to fill(area at the start of the large intestine) and I have some diverticula(fairly normal in older adults I am 31).  My IVP showed displacement of my bladder but there does appear to be attachment to any of my organs. YEH!!  It is now being called a pelvic mass due to appearance on xray and size.

You are doing great! I am glad for you that one more test is in your past and that allows you to have some fears and questions answered.
you responded to me about a month ago when it was feared my cancer was now involving the liver; they are again concerned with that possibility so here we go again. Hopefully I will get some good news tomorrow; as we all know, waiting is the most difficult. Actually that is not true; it is just stressful.
When will you know what kind of pelvic mass it is?
I look for your posts and am certain many in here do; hang in there, kid, and have a wonderful holiday season!

They are labeling my ovarian cyst w/the solid mass as a pelvic mass now.  Upon pathology results after my surgery, I will know whether or not it is cancerous.  I hope they find what is being a trouble maker in your liver.  It may just be a hemangioma-looks like liver tumor but it is just an unfilled vessel(completely harmless).
