In case you need a funny MRI story...

Well... I had my MRI today... and all this time, I've had a cyst on my LEFT ovary. My doctor wrote up the order with the dx of a mass on my RIGHT ovary. Um... I brought this to the tech's attention, and I sort of snickered and said, "Well, I guess if I need surgery I'll be one of those people that write on myself with a sharpie marker as to which one to keep." I'm not sure if he was amused.

Just to let you know not all health care people lack a sense of humour.  I have a number of funny stories from my years in xray.  Had a number of patients give me good laughs.  One of my favourites was from an older gentleman one day.  He said those people that say getting older is for the birds.  He said tell them the alternative is not great, either.  It stuck with me because it was so true.
