Barb Marleeroses surgery

Just to let everyone know that Barb came through her surgery well and was resting in recovery last night.. More details to come as I speak with her husband....Her surgery was in New York where she lives at Sloane Kettering..

I kept telling her I would be with her when she had her surgery.  I am glad that I could watch the surgery with the doctors,,LOL..
Marie anytime you need me look on your shoulder and I will be there... Love Ronni

I thought was was pretty quick for her to be home!!  The dilaudid made her think she was home??  Wow.  That is something.  It must have been comforting for her to think you were right there on her shoulder.  The next time I feel bad I am going to picture you on my shoulder and see if it helps............. DILAUDID what a wonderful drug... I just got off the phone with Barb and she was under the influence when she emailed me she was home. shes not... she is still in the hospital but should be home in the next couple of days...

On the good side she was optimally debulked.. and small bowel resection... She wants everyone to know she is thrilled that so many people checked in on her..

More news to follow but I have to tell you when she was in intensive care she kept telling the nurses I was on her left shoulder... Ha Ha....

Thanks Ronni, for letting us know. I sent her a message last night, not knowing for sure when she would get it. And it is good to know that she came through just fine.
I will be keeping her in my prayers and hoping for a speedy recovery.

That is good to know Ronni.  I am glad she was in touch with you.  I wish everyone on here had a few people they could let know about this kind of stuff so we don't have to wonder.  I think everyone should pick a "buddy" that can let us know what is going on with them.
