Scared. Ovarion/Cervix problem?

I'm so scared ;; I am 20 years old and I have been experiancing stomach problems for the past 5 and a half months. I've had one sex partner back when I was 18 with protection, but I did not get a pap. My symptoms consist of bloating after eatting some things, gas, stomach aches on rare occasions, diarrhea on rare occasions, very bad cramps on the first day of my period, sometimes my urine burns a little but most of the time it doesnt. I'm very afraid and i've been looking for a doctor that can see me and give me tests to figure out what the problem is...I am currently uninsured. I have no medical.

Could this be something with my Ovary or cervix? Or could it be IBS/some sort of intolerance? I've tried going to free/low cost clinics to get help but I would always end up waiting 10 hours+ and still did not get any help. I went to a free hospital last month and was there for 24 hours+ and did not recieve any help... I feel like the most unluckiest human being on the earth because I cant even help myself :(

The scary thing is, is i actually tried that...I went gluten free like 5 months ago. I'm better than I was then, but i'm still having stomach issues. Like I get bloated more often than before and I have alot of gas. I have a big appetite, I just have these symptoms. And it's scaring me to death. I even tried going casien free as well. (I seem to get very violent reactions from dairy sometimes) Still having problems. I think I have more gas than bloating though. I don't get abdominal pain alot, but i do get it sometimes, usually lasts a few minutes. My bowel habits have changed significantly. I used to go once every couple days or so, now I go every day and it's always very sudden and urgent. And i've gained a little weight around my stomach. I'm hoping it's just because I eat a little more now...

It's really scary when you have 0 support from your friends and family, and they tell you it's nothing and that you should just forget it...I've been going through this situation for almost 1 year. I set up an appointment to see a Gyn early next month, hopefully i'll get somewhere. God knows it's gonna kill my pocket book though (uninsured).

My grandson had simular symtems a few months ago. He has been diagnosed with Celiac Disease, which is a severe gluten sensitivity. He cannot have wheat, rye, or barley for the rest of his life, but he CAN be perfectly healthy for the rest of his life.  There are blood tests and biopsies for this, but they are not very accurate. The best way to test yourself is to NOT eat or drink anything with wheat, rye or barley for 3 weeks and then eat some white bread (100% whole wheat bread has less gluten in it.) Watch for runny nose, stuffed up, stomach aches, etc.

Thankyou. This morning, I managed to get a hold of a doctor and said that they would take me on monday of next week. I asked if it were possible for me to get a pap and They just told me it would be a physical exam and any other procdures would have to be requested. So I guess i'm going to see about this again on monday...I hope it's just IBS or something :( Noone in my family has ever had Ovarion cancer or cancer period (except for my grandpa who had prostate cancer. That's all.)

Why can't you go to Planned Parenthood?  They are wonderful. I highly recommend that to you.

And then you'll get a good examination with a Pap.  I don't think you should be worried about ovarian cancer. It is rare for your age especially but it does happen.  If your urine burns you may be having the beginning of a kidney infection and they will check you for that.

It your stomach is hurting try a elimination diet. Go low on bad fats, high on Omega 3s. Fish oil is good. Primrose oil is good. Read some good health books at the book store one day. Diet is the key.
Good luck and let me know if you can go to Planned Parenthood.

Your symptoms could be alot of different things. Gallbladder and/or endometrosis is a couple possibilities. Get a pen and paper write down all your symptoms. Make a journal if you want too. Write down all your questions that way when you get to a doctor you won't forget anything. With no insurance you don't want to have to keep going back for doctor visits. But get to a doctor for a Pap Smear that is important. Even if your not sexually active, get one.

Unfortunately I am in Australia and I am not sure about the American Medical system, so I cannot help you on your insurance problems.

The only way that you are going to get a correct opinion on what is going on with you is to see a doctor. There could be a myraid of reasons why you are experiencing these symptons. I know it is hard not to imagine the worst scenario once you start experiencing strange health symptons.

Are you eating something that you have not been having in your diet previously? That could be causing your occasional diarrahea and bloating and gas. Try drinking Aloe Vera juice that is a good remedy for IBS and see if that brings you any relief until you source a doctor.

I would suggest that you look into having a pap smear every two years which is recommended for women once they become sexually active.

Try not to worry until you get a proper medical opinion.
