chicken pox and chemotherapy

my 25 year old son lives with me he thinks he has chicken pox but as im due to have my second session of chemotherapy this week what are the risks to me please .

I have had 5 go arounds of chemo and 3 go arounds of shingles which is from the chicken pox virus... I would certainly check with your doctor.....

a person can get chicken pox more than once, I had it every time my kids did, it is also related to the herpes simplex  virus.  Be sure and ask before you get your chemo.

That might depend upon if you ever had chickenpox.  If you have you should have immunity.  Call the office on Monday.  I was told I get chemo with a cold, I don't know about chickenpox however, good luck
