A related discussion,
nosebleeds was started.
Hey ladies I too have suffered most of my life with nosebleeds too. I had complete hysterectomy in 2000. Before that I would get nosebleeds during and after my period. I never could imagine it was the Endo until I had surgery twice, first time clean it up and second for the hysterectomy. I thought I was trouble free, only to find new problems. I thought I was going crazy to think of such things...bleeding nose and ear problems. I also do believe that I have Endo of the sinuses. I have told a few doctors this and they say your Endo should be gone because of the hysterectomy I would like to find a practitioner who thinks the same way.
I am constantly taking anti-biotic for sinus issues. I swear this disease is going to make front news, it will be the new illness of the 21 century.
Have you gone the webpage of Dr. Redwine?
Hi Cindy, I'll be interested to hear what your MRI results are. I suffer from severe sinus headaches monthly. I get nose bleeds daily when we stay in a higher elevation. My headaches are usually but not always right before my period. They feel very much like they're in my sinuses, but seem to be period related. They are dibilitating and last 4 or 5 days. I hope you post what your results are.
Thanks MickeyVicki for your quick response. I will let my otolaryngology know. He said he has never seen a case like this and he will do more research. He has scheduled a MRI for me and he will go from there.
She specifically said the implants were in the patient's sinuses, and that these implants caused nosebleeds. I have not asked my cousin, but since my doctor told me about that patient I have suspected that my cousin might have had this condition as well. She used to suffer from chronic nosebleeds. She also had endometriosis that was so bad that she had a hysterectomy as soon as she and her husband completed their family. She would be bed-ridden because her symptoms were so severe. I now wonder if her her nosebleeds have stopped since she had her complete hysterectomy. Too bad that I did not get this question a few weeks earlier because I just had a follow-up appointment with my doctor last month.
