DISSAPEARING OVARY???????????????????

hi everyone. i posted a question on this on a different forum but got no answers. hopefully someone here can help. here goes. i had a lapoarscopy sterilisation done 4 days ago. i have 4 kids. when i came to myself in recovery my surgeon was there to talk thru the procedure. he told me i had a little xtra work done as i had a twisted fallopion tube and that 1 of my ovaries was gone??????????? gone where. how does it just go????? he said my other tube was full of adhesions. WHAT ARE THEY?????????? i didnt think to question him at the time as i was just wakened from aneasthetic and was still very groggy. iv a review to see him again in 2 months time what would that be for? it seems a long time to wait with all these questions running round my head. can anyone here shed any light or advice? GREATLY APPRECIATED. VERY WORRIED. THANX IN ADVANCE

Only your doctor can tell you what he meant by gone.  Regarding the adhesions, that is a term for scar tissue.  Talk to your doc.
