Need some kind of Guidance on Ovarian Cysts

Right now im really scared. Im 20 years old and for 6 months i have had constant bleeding and pain. My OB/GYN had me on a double dose of birth control this really helped me but unfortunately my insurance denies me to get that prescription again. At the same time i was diagnosis with poly cystic ovarian syndrome or P.C.O.S. at the time there were no cysts present even though there was bleeding. Unfortunately at the end of January of 09 when i ended up in an emergency room for the second time in 48 hours they found threw CT and ultra sound that both of my ovaries are completely covered in cysts. They ended up giving me a Demerol shot and a Rx for hydrocodone they also tole me that my only option is a hysterectomy and that they will not do it so i just have to deal with it. The strength of the medication and the amount i need to take has left me unable to work which is making it very hard to pay for my medications and other things, and my insurance seems to have run out to. I don't really know if i should attempt this surgery. I done even know what if any other options could be out there for me. I don't even know what doctor i should turn to. no one in my family has been here to really help me. if it were not for my boyfriend i never would have been able to make it to the emergency room. He doesn't know how to help me and i don't know what to tell him. Is there any thing anyone can suggest? Is there a site that anyone knows of that may be able to help?

Your gyno doctor would be the one to go to for a hysterectomy. I have heard that you will feel a lot better once that is done.

If I were you, i would meet with the finance department at the hospital to work out a payment plan.

I really hope you get it done, i think it would solve a lot of your problems.
