Post Surgery Dermoid Cyst

I had a dermoid cyst removed last month. I was looking at some of my tests from pre surgery, and it says that my progesterone is only 1 nmol/L and my estradiol is only 102 pmol/L. Is that low? I think the results say that those are at a post menopausal level (I'm not really good at reading results), which isn't good because I'm only 19. Are the unusually low levels because of the cyst (6.5 cm)? Will they balance out on their own now that the cyst is removed or will I have to do hormone therapy?

Thanks for your help, I will definitely take your recommendation. It's nice to hear that there is an explanation for how extremely weird I have been feeling :)
Thanks again

I read your comment and thought this would help:
I had a 10cm+ Dermoid cyst that consumed my rt ovary & dragged it down into the cavity betw my uterus & back..hence the mid-month bleeding & sciatic/hip pain on & off for over a year. Had to have an immed. bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy (lost both ovaries & tubes) 10 days ago (laproscopically, thank god).  Haven't had my f/u yet re HRT, but I feel "armed with info" as I stumbled across a great book: "It's my ovaries, stupid!" by Dr. Elizabeth Vliet (got at B&Nobles). I cannot tell you how informative this book is (and an easy read). You need to be INFORMED before you let Drs throw all kinds of hormones at you. I am finding it to be a real pg turner...and, I am actually recommending it to all my friends, whether they have problems or not, because from what I've seen/heard, everyone may at some pt, OR, it just educates you about your body to prepare for menopause..w/out feeling like you are "a nut job". Premise of the book: Women (and many drs) underestimate how many bodily functions or problems are affected by hormones our ovaries make.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck

I'm sorry but don't have an answer for you.  You might do better on the women's health or the hysterectomy forums.
